Pool Hours:
The pool will open for the 2025 season starting on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 12PM
until Labor Day which is September 1, 2025. The pool schedule and hours will be as follows:
Tuesdays-Sundays from 12 PM to 8 PM (closed Mondays for cleaning), the only exception is Monday, May 26, 2025 (Memorial Day), which we will be open.
Once the school season begins (Alief ISD) on August 12th, we will only be open weekdays (except Mondays) from 3-8PM and on Saturdays & Sundays from 12-8 PM.
We have hired 2 American Red Cross certified lifeguards to encourage the safety of our community members at this pool for the season, Evan Vives and Charlie Kingensmith. We are thrilled to have both of our lifeguards return for this pool season and appreciate all of the work they will do for our community this Summer!
Access to our pool is limited to Glenshannon Community Homeowners (or their tenants) and members must check in based on registered address. Please note that according to the pool rules (and our deed restrictions), access will be limited to those homeowners (or their tenants) who are current with our association dues (or have a payment plan in place with the board) as these dues go towards maintenance of the pool and park and allow us to promote safety at our pool by our lifeguards.
We are also pleased to announce that we have also fully renovated our 2 existing restrooms (formerly partitioned with many interior dividers/panels and very little room to move) to now have 2 individual restrooms with ADA compliant doors so that all community members can enjoy our facilities!
